Edwards BFZ Aquifer GAM, DFC, and MAG information for GMA 8.
Three counties in GMA 8 have portions of the Edwards aquifer—Bell,
Travis and Williamson. Of these, only Bell County has a
groundwater conservation district--Clearwater Underground Water
Conservation District. Several GAM (Groundwater Availability
Model) simulation have been conducted with various pumping projections.
The DFCs for the Edwards BFZ Aquifer were adopted by GMA 8 at the December
meeting held on December 17, 2007. The TWDB MAG was finalized September 30, 2008.
